Hello there! I'll be using this space to share updates on my music projects, the gear I'm experimenting with, and the artists who inspire me. If you've stumbled across this blog, welcome! My name is Ste, and I write and record electronic music under the alias Myths and Monsters. I’m based in Preston, Lancashire. I perform live whenever I can. The furthest north I've played is Glasgow, and the furthest south is Liverpool so I'm not exactly jet-setting around the globe. However I love the process of making music and connecting with others. My approach to music is a bit unconventional. My debut album, Project Echo, used a Gameboy as a sequencer to power synths. My follow-up, Cecaelia, was a tribute to '70s and '80s film soundtracks and relied heavily on analog synth
